Carpuride makes portable wireless CarPlay and Android Auto screens for motorcycles and cars, plus the brackets, cameras and tyre pressure sensors that go with them. It is a narrow catalogue by the standards of this market, which is usually a good sign, and the motorcycle range in particular is unusually well thought through.
This review covers what the brand does well, one thing it does better than almost anyone in this market, and the places where the product structure will catch you out. We have not fitted these units, so nothing here is a hands-on test; it is a reading of the published specifications and the way the listings are written.
What Carpuride sells
Around 140 listings, of which the meaningful ones are portable screens in two families: motorcycle units from about 6 to 6.9 inches with high-brightness panels and weather sealing, and car units from about 7 to 9.3 inches. The motorcycle range is the more interesting half, because it addresses problems that general car-accessory brands ignore: sunlight readability, IP-rated sealing, dual Bluetooth for a headset and an intercom at once, and on one model native support for the BMW handlebar controller.
The compatibility warnings are a good sign
Several product pages open with a bold warning that the unit is not compatible with HarmonyOS and some Android models, with a link to a full compatibility list. Our first reaction was that this is a limitation. Our second, and the right one, is that publishing it prominently is the opposite of what most sellers in this category do.
Phone compatibility is the single biggest source of returns for wireless CarPlay adapters and screens, and most listings bury it or omit it. A brand that puts the incompatibility at the top of the page, before the specifications, is one that would rather lose a sale than take a return. That is worth something.
Where the range trips people up
Optional extras are sold as separate SKUs rather than as checkboxes. Tyre pressure monitoring on the motorcycle units and the backup camera on the car units are different products with different names, and it is very easy to order the base variant and then discover the extra is not included. Read the variant selector carefully.
The second issue is that brightness is not published consistently. Some units state 1000 nits, which is the figure that matters on a motorcycle; others state nothing. On an outdoor product that is the specification we would want on every listing, and we would ask before buying a model that omits it.

Who should buy something else
Anyone whose car can take a proper double-DIN head unit and who is willing to have one fitted. An installed unit is wired into the car, powers with the ignition, connects to the factory speakers and steering wheel controls, and does not sit on the dashboard in your line of sight. A portable screen is the answer when installation is impossible, expensive or not worth it on the car.
Also anyone using a HarmonyOS phone or an Android handset on the incompatible list, which the brand tells you about rather than hiding. And anyone whose dashboard has nowhere a 9 inch screen can sit without blocking the road, the mirrors or an airbag; that is a physical constraint no product solves.
Common questions
Do these connect to the motorcycle speakers?
The motorcycle units generally use a Bluetooth transmitter to send audio to your helmet headset rather than to bike speakers, which is the right approach on a motorcycle. The dual Bluetooth models let a headset and an intercom connect at the same time, which is the feature to look for if you ride in a group.
Is IP67 enough for riding in rain?
IP67 means dust tight and able to withstand temporary immersion, which is comfortably beyond what rain demands. It is a specific tested rating rather than a marketing phrase, which is why we called it out. Connectors and cables still need care, as on any outdoor electronics.
Will TPMS come with the screen?
Only if you buy the variant that includes it. On several motorcycle models the tyre pressure system is a separate SKU with a plus in the name. Check the variant you have selected before paying, because this is the most common ordering mistake with this brand.
Can I use one screen on two vehicles?
Physically, yes, portable units are designed to be removed. Practically you need a bracket and a power source in each vehicle, and motorcycle and car units are designed around different screen sizes and sealing requirements. Moving a car unit onto a bike is a bad idea; moving a motorcycle unit into a car works but wastes the features you paid for.
The verdict
Carpuride is a good choice if you want CarPlay on a motorcycle, and a reasonable one for a car that cannot take an installed head unit. The motorcycle range is designed by people who understand the problem: 1000 nit screens, IP67 sealing, dual Bluetooth and native BMW controller support are all answers to real riding complaints. The brand also warns about phone incompatibility more clearly than most of this market, which we rate highly. The frustrations are the separate SKUs for optional extras and inconsistent brightness figures. Check your phone, check the variant, check where the screen will physically sit, and it is a solid buy.
